When
I was at home with our son I became daycare to a Irish Wolfhound,
Furlongs Dillon, born 1978, who we later
bought.
With him I was
introduced with dogshows as he already was a champion. Dillon past
away at a age of seven.
Our next Irish
Wolfhound was born
1985, Clansmans Ikaros. With him I was competing in obediance,
dogshows, tracking and trained him
to
a securitygard-dog
as I at that time
worked as a securitygard. Ikaros was one of a kind and we had the
fortune to share his life for
ten years and he
left a huge void
in my hart when he past away in 1995.
At sparetime I was
helping a rescue-center for dogs and German Shephard
Olhedens Cayenne,
born 1984 came to us. She lived with
us until she past
away at a age of eight.
At
that time I held classes in obediance, tracking and dogactivating.
Today I'm a boardmember of the Swedish Sighthoundclub and president of
Stockholm Lure Coursing section.
About 1984
I saw a picture of a Sloughi – it was the most beautiful
sight. I read all I could about
the breed as we didn't have any in Sweden at that time. I had to wait
for twelve years before my dream came through and I fetched home
Tillieville Zalute, born 1996.
It was a long wait but since then I have enjoyed every
second of sharing my life with these beautiful and intelligent beings...
